The responsibilities of the Administration, Safety and Resources Group include:

• Overall management and planning of the Department resources (budget and personnel), collaborations with outside laboratories and institutions as well as administrative follow-up of EU co-funded activities;
• Representation of the Department in CERN-wide and inter-Departmental bodies dealing with administrative, personnel, budget and safety matters;
• Assistance to the Department Head and Group Leaders in all matters of occupational safety, general safety, radiation protection and safety training.
• Assistance to CERN’s “Chef d’Installation” in matters of operational safety during operation and maintenance of all beam facilities at CERN, including the promotion, management and follow-up of operation and safety documents.
